Perform Service to Operate Mobile Medical Teams at CHT, Rangamati

GOAL AND OBJECTIVES

To improve the health and nutrition status of the people in the CHT, including – 

  • improve the maternal health and reproductive health;
  • reduce child and maternal mortality
  • reduce the incidence of HIV/AIDS, malaria

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

To provide a high level of health services curative care (including malaria), ANC, PNC, reproductive health, health education, EPI & FP In remote areas and in emergencies by Mobile teams with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOH & FW) staffs and provide technical and logistical support to the Community Health Services Workers (CHSWs)
To facilitate the work of MOH&FW. Health and FP staffs to provide immunization and family planning services on a periodical basis to eligible children, women and families.
To backstop the network of Community Health Services Workers (CHSW)—-who on average number around 70 per Upazila—by supervising the quality of services, to support in referral's emergency and serious cases, and facilitate and create linkages for smooth functioning of these.
